ACTIVITIES OF VIVAMAR SOCIETY

Activites of Vivamar Society are directed towards the conservation and protection of the Bottlenose Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in the slovenian sea and neighbouring waters and from further perspective - the sustainable management of the sea. Vivamar tries to follow its main aim by activities on direct observation of Bottlenose Dolphins in the area, with cooperating in different  projects, activities on the meetings in Slovenia and abroad, conferences etc. Many activities of Vivamar are also in rising the awareness, disseminating of information to the certain institutions, which are, in the framework of the state, responsible to prepare the action plan and make strategical decisions for the protection and conservation of, in this area already endangered dolphins (for more inforamtion look under "Vivamar Society" and "Research";).
