...and again the mission...

The future of the Earth is calling after radical changes in deliberation, how to manage with marine and land ecosystems correctly. For long already we know, that the sea is not an »endless container for the waste«, which can »digest« everything and than nothing is to be seen, because it sinks on its bottom.

»...we take from the sea such enourmous quantities of fishes, that one has the feeling as to tear its bowels out. From the 1900s the fish populations have declined for nearly 90 %, and the conditions are getting even worse. Coral reefs are totally damaged and scraped with nets. The nice example is New zealand, where they created some marine protected areas. Alaska and Iceland are managing the sea on the sustainable manner. When will other countries follow? Nowadays, on many places, we overexploited the nature already, so we are more aware of its worthiness. We notice the reaction of the nature much more frequently and its extensions are starting to be global. Not to mention only the climate changes! No less important are extremely bad conditions by overexploitation of the oceans, only that those changes are not obvious and visible directly, since it's hidden in the wast blue ocean. For the correct management it's important to understand the global influences and changes, but still act locally. And so the idea of the establishement of the VIVAMAR SOCIETY came into being.

With all upper facts, Vivamar wants to work in the sustainable manner for the sea, whose usage should be possible also for the future generations.

As already written on many occasions, the essence of Sustainable Development for the sea is constructive development and interdependant economical, social comopnents and at the same time ecological usage and management of the sea.
